A buyer will be announced by September 25th. Do you think it's Kent buying it back himself? Private equity groups? Cedar Fair? Six Flags? Disney? Another run with Anheuser-Busch (who once owned the park)?

Well, at least one group has formally come up with a bid. . .
Like you, I'd love to see Kent come out on top. He deserves it. Still, absent a bid from his camp it's good to know that there is at least one more group out there willing to take ownership and keep the park running. |

A little more info on that initial bid.
It is $16.8 million for both of Kent's parks. More info can be found here. The actual bidding is tomorrow. The judge should announce the winner by Thursday. |
