I went to Cypress Gardens when I was a kid, now I have kids (5 and 7 yrs old) and am considering taking them. Should I? I'm having a hard time getting good information regarding whether this bankruptcy/sale issue means the park is in bad shape, many rides are closed, many rides are being renovated (but closed for now), etc.
If your relatives were asking you if they should spend a few days at Cypress Gardens in mid December or go somewhere else like Busch Gardens, what would you tell them?
Are there a lot of rides open?
Are ANY rides closed?
Are there long lines?
Does Cypress Gardens have something like Disney's FastPass?
Is the Best Western the right place to stay?
Are there any good restaurants outside the park but close by for dinner?
Anything else I should know but forgot to ask?
Thanks SO much!
